Use the left joint for the outside of the left foot or inside of the right foot. Use the right joint for the outside of the right foot or inside of the left foot. If the patient is under 150 lbs, use the left joint for the outside of the left foot and the right joint for the outside of the right foot. In that case, Ultraflex suggests using another joint, AFOP-ROM, for the inside of the support.
