Ultraflex USS KO joint helps make a KAFO (knee-ankle-foot orthosis) that allows people to move better by fixing walking problems and weak muscles or joints. It's not for stretching. You can get it for the left or right knee, and it comes in pairs for both sides of the knee. It has a flexion assist (0-30 degrees) that makes walking easier and saves energy. It also has a quick-release feature for standing up from sitting. It's great for people who have had a stroke and have weak thigh muscles. You need a special tool to set it up the first time (sold separately).
Ultraflex ADR Pediatric Knee Joint is useful for making personalized orthoses to address walking problems, weak muscles and joints, and instability, which improves movement. Orthoses with this joint are final and not meant for stretching. The sit-to-stand slide lock/safety release at the joint is easy to use and doesn't require much effort for patients with good understanding and hand skills. It works similarly to the KO USS but without a cable and lever.
