Ultraflex 2 SS3 Bidirectional Elbow Joint is used to make custom orthoses for orthopedic rehabilitation and treating muscle stiffness with gentle stretching. These orthoses help in therapy but aren't for walking. They come individually for either the left or right side. It can bend from 15 degrees backward to 135 degrees forward and can be locked at different angles (every 7.5 degrees) for standing still. You can also add or remove power assistance units (weighing 45, 60, or 90 pounds). It weighs 113 grams without the bars. The parts are made of stainless steel and aluminum and coated to prevent rust.
